Nandi Hill also known as the “Hill of Happiness/ Aananda Giri” located in the Chikkaballapur district of the South Indian State Karnataka. Locals called the hill station as Nandidurga or Nandi Betta elevated at a height of 1,479 metres above the sea level. The hill name derived from an ancient Dravidian temple having Statue of Nandi located on the hill area hence called Nandi Hill.
