Galathea National Park, a park located in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands in India. It is a part of Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve, notified as the National park in the year 1992, having lush flora and a rich variety of fauna. The park geographically situated at Great Nicobar of the most beautiful Nicobar Island spread over an about 110 square-kilometres. The climate of Galathea National Park remains cool all the year round. Summers starts in the month of April and lasts in mid-July. During the period park experiences quite high temperature and records of about 21 to 30-degree Celsius. By Train: Chennai Central is the nearest railway station to reach Galathea National Park. By then you reach only by boats.
