Madhav National Park is situated in Shivpuri District, Madhya Pradesh. Once the national park used as the famous hunting ground of the Mughal emperors and Maratha royals. It was named after Madho Rao Scindia, The Maharaja of Gwalior.

Madhav National Park is rich in biodiversity. Some of the famous fauna which you could spot in abounding numbers such as deer, chital, Indian gazelle, nilgai, sambar, sloth bear, Indian leopard, common langur, and blackbuck.
While the avifauna includes migratory geese, teal, mallard, pochard, pintail, and gadwall, white ibis, laggar falcon, purple sunbird, Indian paradise flycatcher, cormorant, and painted stork.
